Back to School Teacher Gift - Facebook Live Video

Today on Facebook Live I demonstrated how I put this Teacher Emergency Kit together.  You can watch HERE on my Craft with Julie Facebook Group.  It is a closed group so you do have to request to join, but you will have access to all my other facebook live tutorials and awesome artwork!

I purchased all the goodies that went inside the box from my local dollar store.  This made for a very inexpensive, but useful gift!

For the tag I used the Artbooking Cricut Cartridge.  I use some twine from my stash and wrapped it around a few times.

The pattern paper is from the Fundamentals Adventure paper.  The apple is from the Artbooking Cricut Cartridge cut in Cocoa, Willow, Colonial White, and Cranberry.  I used the black Shin Han marker for the seeds.  I added liquid glass to the seeds to give them shine and dimension and then shimmer brush to add some glitter to the inside of the apple.

Join me next Tuesday LIVE for some more creating fun!

Jack Blog Hop

Welcome to our Jack Blog Hop!  We will be showcasing our Jack collection with various projects created by talented Close to My Heart consultants.  If you are visiting from Ramona's Blog then you are on the right track.

This month I wanted to get back to my roots and feature a scrapbook layout.  I started scrapbooking when I was in high school.  Scrapbooking is what got me started in paper crafting.  Creating this layout made me so happy!  I love the Jack paper collection and was excited I had some camping pictures from this summer to inspire this layout.

Read on for all the details or hop along to Martha's Blog.

I started with laying out the Jack patterned papers, complements and accents.  I grabbed the newest Close to My Heart how to book, Make It From Your Heart.  I LOVE this new idea book!  So many great patterns and they have updated the artwork to give even more ideas.  There is a section of ideas for pocket scrapbooking, which is the one I chose, pattern 33.

This is the layout before I added in pocket pages.
Pocket pages are a fast and easy way to add more photos.

The first pocket page I added I included the title for the layout.  Isn't the font so cute?!  It is from our newest cricut cartrige You Are Here.  The dots are the white dot accents.  I used two of the Pocket Plus Design 1.

The second pocket page I added a few more cricut cuts from the You Are Here cartridge. The log cabin, trees and hiking boots are also cut from the You Are Here cartridge.

The last pocket page I added journaling.  The smore stick and trees are from the You Are Here cricut cartrige.  Here is a closer look at the cricut cuts:

I really enjoyed getting back to scrapbooking and hope to do more really soon!
Thanks for stopping by!

Beautiful You and Alphabet Thin Cuts - Facebook Live Video

I did another facebook live demo today over on my facebook group, Craft with Julie.  You can request to join the group here:  I go LIVE on Tuesdays!

I love a little 3x3 card.  They are the perfect size for a gift or to add to a treat for a friend or neighbor.

On the rose card I used the Basic Fundamental and Adventure Fundamental pattern papers.  The stamp set is called Beautiful You.  It is a 3 step stamp and is gorgeous!  I used Bashful and Pixie ink on the rose and Heather and Pebble on the leaves.  I added a little silver shimmer trim and Bashful pearl for some bling.

The HI card I used Raspberry two-toned cardstock and white cardstock.  I used the In the Background stamp set for the rose pattern on the background and on the HI letters.  I used the Bock Alphabet thin cuts to cut out the letters.  I used some 3D foam to pop up the letters and a white dot for some bling.

Hope you tune in next week for another LIVE demo!

Fundamental Papers - Facebook Video

I am really loving the new patterns in the Fundamental paper packets!  Here are a few creations made my be more some of my consultant friends.
This is a pinterest inspired card.  I used the Enchantment Fundamentals.  I really love these fall colors!  Gold bling and glitter paper go perfectly with this color palette.  I did a facebook live video demonstrating how fast and easy this card is to put together.  You can view the video in my Craft with Julie facebook group here:

This card was made by my friend Lori.  She used the new color of the year Bashful and the Basic fundamentals.

This card was inspired by my friend Erica.  I used the Adventure fundamentals and Beautiful You stamp set.

I used the Whimsy Fundamentals to create this baby card.  I added some white glitter paper and cut the letters using the new alphabet thin cuts.

This card was made by my consultant friend Gerri.   She used the new Cricut Cartridge You Are Here for that cute globe.
