Dreamin' Big Blog Hop

Welcome to our Close to My Heart Dreamin' Big blog hop! We will be showcasing projects created with our Dreamin' Big paper packet. If you are visiting from Erica's Blog you are on the right track!

This month I made a little pot of gold in honor of St. Patty's day.
This bowl pattern is an oldie but goodie!

Keep scrolling for detailed instructions on how to make this project or hop along to your next stop,

Emerald is not a featured color in this kit, but I thought it made the black and yellow patterns pop, plus it is an awesome color for St. Patty's day.

Take a piece of 6 x 6 piece of cardstock then score every 2 inches.  Turn then score every 2 inches making 9 - 2x2 squares.  Score the 4 corner squares diagonally.  Then fold on the score lines, you will get something that looks like this:

Cut 8 - 1 3/4 x 1 3/4 squares from patterned paper.  I used the black and Goldrush patterned paper from the Dreamin' Big paper packet.  Cut 4 of them diagonally.  Attach to bowl so it looks like this:

Then punch a hole in the 4 corners, thread ribbon through and gather the corners to form a bowl.

For the finishing touch I attached a tag.  This polka dot paper is actually a cut apart card that is included in the Dreamin' Big Paper packet.  I stamped "just for" in black ink and "you" in Emerald ink.  The stamp set I used is C1674 Dreamin' Big Cardmaking set. The sequins are from the Dreamin' Big Sequins pack.   I used Black Shimmer Ribbon to tie it all together.

These little bowls really make the cutest gift or name tag/place holder at your next dinner party.
